Battle of the Sexes

The board game. Have you ever played this?? Well we played it last night with a group of other couples. We did teams so there were 4 girls/4 guys. I could not believe the question they asked. Some them it wasn't a matter of how much you knew about the opposite sex but what random crap you knew. Example for the guys... Who was Snow Whites sister? Snow White had a sister? Disney sure didn't tells us that. Needless to say the guys didn't get that which was no big shocker because if the girls had been asked we wouldn't have gotten it either. For the curious it is Rose Red. Another example... What are the two vegetable in broccoli Rabe? What is Broccoli Rabe? I have never heard of this before. What does this have to do with being female and something that guys should know about us? I don't know what it is nor have I ever made it. So anyway it is Cabbage and radishes. I will say that the questions for the girls to answer were more guy based. Sports, etc. But there was the occasional random crap question in there too. I was surprised my hubby knew that Amy Tan wrote the Joy Luck Club. Although his brother said he was taking away his man card for knowing that one. So overall it is an interesting game and had I not been ready to crash I would have been much more competitive. Needless to say the guys won.
